If you say the name Make-Tricks anywhere within the calisthenic world, you'll see eyes light with recognition, awe, and instant respect.
Since the beginning the name Make-Tricks has been synonymous with dynamic energy and innovation. The N.B.X.A was created as a sports league all its own. It was created as a space where the most elite practitioners of calisthenics could become athletes. The National Barmetrixx Xtreme Association was not merely calisthenics exercises, but Barmetrixx which is a form of gymnastics, isometrics, and calisthenics. This uses the bar with the metric system which is the number of reps and the number of different exercises, along with the tricks which is what makes up Barmetrixx!
It was through this league and the hosting of the games that the concept of The Proper Push was born. What counts as a push up and what doesn't?Do you have to do a full range of motion? If your chest never hits the floor, or your arms never fully extend, is that really a push up? These questions and many more have now been answered with The Proper Push!
